Battles of Love definitely captured my heart. I was wondering how life after marriage would be for Jeremiah and Ellie. Book one seemed as if these two were perfect for each other but even the strongest couples can hit a rough patch. That’s what this book showed- readers get to experience the highs and lows of the couple maneuvering through temptations, work/life balance, therapy, and issues with fertility. It was beautiful and the message was clear. I really enjoyed this book.

I thought book 1 was amazing but book 2 was even more amazing. The gems and lessons you get out of this series, whether married, in a relationship, or single, are so important and can be life changing for many readers. As a Christian woman, I desire to live my life like Ellie and Bliss. Having an evenore intimate relationship with God is another goal as well. Seeing how Jeremiah and Ellie were so in sync and in love with one another and allowed God to lead them even when they didn't always heed is warnings via the Holy Spirit and others, will make you desire a love like that as well. I'm hoping we get a story from Bliss next!!
I like it when authors step up to the plate and sends a ball straight down the middle. I like it when stories elude the expected and give readers a fresh look at a spiritual love story. The story focused on the couple's relationship and secular beliefs about marriage and commitment. The devil is always busy. Sometimes the devil appears in the form of a child. And in this edition, a child was a temptation to the couple's marriage. I could feel this story in my bones. Overall, this spiritual journey was a good one. 4.5 stars.
