Storms of Love (The Storms of Love Series Book 1)
About
Ellie Rae McNeal didn’t go to Hollywood looking for love — but love may have found her anyway. As the lead stylist on a hit romantic comedy, this Philly-born entrepreneur is all business… until a spirited five-year-old named Zoe Mattison dances into her salon chair with sass, sparkle, and a ponytail request that tugs at Ellie’s guarded heart.
Then there’s Jeremiah Lewis — smooth, successful, and unexpectedly familiar. Their meet-cute starts with a fender bender and ends with a wink and a promise over lunch. But what begins as a lighthearted flirtation deepens into something sacred as Ellie realizes that Zoe and Jeremiah aren’t chance encounters — they’re divinely placed reminders of everything she’s tried to forget.
As old wounds rise and buried trauma resurfaces, Ellie is forced to confront the question she’s spent a lifetime avoiding: Can she receive the kind of love that gives without condition… or will fear convince her to walk away from the very thing she’s prayed for?

Praise for this book
This book was absolutely amazing!!! Definitely one of my favorite reads so far this year. I don't think I've ever read a Christian centered romance before, but I really loved it. It was just what my spirit needed. I'll definitely recommend this book to all my friends!!!
This book touched my soul! The scripture was on point and hit me every time! To read Ellie's and Jeremiah's relationships with God, their families, and each other was beautiful and refreshing. I shed tears every time I read a scripture that hit home. Looking forward to Bliss' or Monet's story next!😉 This story put so much into perspective. A really good love story!
Storms of Love was a great introduction to this author and series. I really liked the flow of the story, though sometimes it was wordy. It really inspired me. There was so many gems on dating, walking with God, setting boundaries, and being intentional with yourself. I didn’t realize that I would receive so many thought provoking points but I truly believe a word from God catches us in different spaces. I liked the characters and the way they communicated with each other. Their love moved fairly quickly but it was cute and I think both were in a space where they were searching for their forever mate. Good read for me.
It's been so long since I have read a Christian love story but this one was so needed for me. Though I'm not in that season of my life regarding marriage, there were so many gems in this story that resonated with me in so many ways. If someone doesn't start the process of healing and desiring a strong relationship with God on top of believing in love then they cannot have a pulse. The author wrote this in a way that a believer and non believer can enjoy and take something from this story to apply to their daily lives. Funny thing is that I didn't desire any sex scenes in this story. It wasn't needed. It makes me excited to read more from this author and venture out into more Christian romance stories like this one.
I was looking for something a little different from what I normally read and this was it. I loved the relationship between Ellie and Jeremiah, especially with the one they had with God. It made me look at my own spiritual journey and recognize things I need to work on and change. And little Zoe was so cute. The biggest takeaway from this is, everything happens according to God's timing. Look forward to reading more from this author.
